Tonight we gave Winnie a bath after Max projectile vomited on her. He's OK and the dog is now clean. Never thought I'd be able to use dog, baby and projectile vomit in the same sentence, but there you go.

Happy 7-months today to our little Rocket Man.

And baby makes three

Baby #2 came waaaay earlier than we expected. Just kidding. Really.

Meet our 5-month old neighbor Cosimo. Elisa has set up a "mommy share" with his mom, Mercy. Both mommies are students and have agreed to take both kids for two hours twice a week so the other can get some studying in.

In the meantime, Max and Cos are getting an early jump on becoming best friends.

Wait? A blog post without the Grape?!

That's right, it's just a little Greene (and Ridley) time tonight. Grandma and grandpa came over and gave us a chance to go out on what do you call it... um...let's see... a DATE! Yeah, one of those.

We had a nice dinner, drinks (represented above with a photo from 2 years ago) and a movie sans the diaper bag, high chair, stroller, car seat and crying. We love our little dude, but it was nice to be grown ups for at least a few hours.

Clean bill of health for the Grape. In fact, the doctor said Max is well ahead of the curve in standing up without support.

Now, on to his numbers and percentiles at the 6-month marker. Our dude is on the low end of the scale for weight, which is probably because of the stock he comes from. But to be safe, we're adding some extra feedings and some more calories to Max's diet then going back to the doc for a weigh-in in 6 weeks.
