A big thank you to Grandma P & Grandpa G, who gave us the best present ever this past weekend... 4 days and 4 nights of babysitting. Elisa and I took a vacation to Palm Springs, our first extended getaway since our honeymoon!

Although, after the boys played all day, went to a kangaroo petting zoo and were generally spoiled by their grandparents, I'm not sure who had more fun... us or them!

We took in today's eclipse from the northwestern most city in the lower 48, Bellingham, WA.

Ill prepared as we were, we were lucky enough to run into some friendly folks who shared their eclipse glasses with us so we could follow the action.

Sam provided the quote of the day as the sun's shape changed:

"Hey, the moon is upside down!"

Team Greene could not have had a better time at the wedding we went to for a coworker yesterday on Lummi Island, which is in the San Juan. 

It had everything... a gorgeous setting, beautiful ceremony, great company, good food and bow ties. 

Plus, Max and Sam made some new friends and even danced with their new friends. 

Love was certainly in the air!
