Friday night lights dad and dude night

I took Max out tonight to check out my alma mater, Woodinville Falcons, who are currently the top ranked team in the state.

Cheeseburgers and milkshakes washed down with a 38-0 WHS win made for the perfect dad and dude night.

It's been sunny and dry for nearly three months so these Seattle kids were ready for the return of the rain today!

First day of preschool - senior year

PlayGarden, where Max went to preschool and where Sam will start his third and final year tomorrow, is home to many critters, including chickens. Max learned to catch the chickens and has passed that skill down to his little brother at this past weekend's orientation. 

Here's to a great final year and plenty of chicken whispering!

Third grade first day

Max went back to school today and started third grade. His new teacher, Ms. Kang was also his kindergarten teacher. She moved to third grade a few years ago and was excited to get many of her kindergarteners back, including Max!
