Where did the time go? While the last year has been a challenging year for everyone, it's been a true joy to watch Max continue to grow and grow and grow so more.
We got official word from his doctor at his check-up last week that he's in the midst of a major growth spurt. But we didn't need the doc to tell us that... we knew when Max went to give me a hug recently and whacked his head into my chin. He apologized and said, "Sorry, I thought I still fit under there."
He does fit the mold of a typical pre-teen... hungry ravenous all the time, sleeps in more, has a little sass and is just smarter, stronger and taller by the day.
He loves his new middle school, alghough he's never stepped foot in it. He loves his little brother, although he steps on him almost everyday. But mostly he loves being a kid and playing video games, riding his bike/skateboard/hoverboard, swimming in the summers, hanging out with his friends, catching Pokemon and eating. We mentioend his appetite already, but it's worth mentioning again.
