Elisa is back home with her folks for their big Robert Burns celebration, which means I'll be playing the role of Mr. Mom this weekend. 

We kicked off our Boys Only festival at the Museum of Flight. 

I'm happy to report that there has been little turbulence...so far. Check back with me on Sunday to see if I've had to make an emergency landing!

Goodbye, 1121

Today we're moving out of 1121, my home for nearly the past 14 years. It's the house where Elisa and I met, where we brought both of our boys home and so much more.

While it's tough to say goodbye to our neighbors, Loie, Jeff, Mercy, Canuche, Cosimo, Adele, Linda, Ralph, Greg and many others, after the many celebrations, play dates and impromptu meals and drinks we've shared together. Elisa and I take comfort in knowing their are more good times ahead with neighbors new and old just 10 blocks away.

Happy 2014!

Happy(?) Anniversary

So the traditional third wedding anniversary present is leather. I skipped tradition this year. 

Instead I got Elisa a canceled dinner-and-movie date (we were all under the weather), an abbreviated trip to a local pizza joint with an inconsolable toddler and the same tike tossing his cookies upon our arrival home. 

Hope you like your gifts, Elisa. We can't take them back.
