In a nod to Max's heritage, we got his ear pierced. It's a Scottish tradition that I frankly hadn't heard of, but I'm a team player, so I went along with it.
The good news is he didn't cry much when we got it done and he hasn't had any complications other than getting one of his toys got stuck in it today. We're sure he'll get used to it soon.
