My own kid, Max will be in attendance and has some history with Junior. Max was born on the day Griffey re-signed with the Mariners. I made sure the first game Max watched, or peeked at through one,sleepy eye when he was a week old, was one in which Junior was getting his first at bat since his return.
I even attempted to switch Max's name at the last minute to Ken, Kenny or Griffey, but Elisa wisely had us stick to the plan.
So hats off to #24 tonight from your fans big and small.
