Last night for the second year in a row we joined our good friends the Hofmeisters and their family aboard the Christmas Ships.
For over 60 years these boats have gone out around Seattle to broadcast live caroling to parks and communities around the shoreline. Several smaller vessels follow along decked out in Christmas lights. We've watched in the past from our neighborhood beach next to a bonfire and now listened on board, as well.
It's a really special Northwest tradition that's a highlight for our family each year.
