Something's missing from this picture

Sam lost his first tooth yesterday. It happened at school, which meant he got to take home the baby tooth in a small tooth-shaped box that the school keeps on stock for just such an occasion.

Sam O's is excited to get a visit from the tooth fairy this evening but had several questions that he's been asking ahead of time while wiggling his "wobbly" tooth. Questions such as:

Sam: What does the tooth fairy do with the teeth?
Us: She builds a castle with them.

Sam: What about the roots.
Us: Those stay on the teeth and are a part of the castle, too.

Sam: Does the tooth fairy only bring money?
Us: No, she sometimes brings cheeseburgers, too.

Then there was this conversation that took place between Max and Sam after the tooth came out:

Sam: I think that the tooth fairy is a ghost because she can get into the house without anyone seeing. And I think that the tooth fairy finds broken junk and then fixes it. That's what she gives people.
Max: Or maybe she goes to the store.
Sam: That's a good solution.

Whatever she brings and wherever she gets it, we know it will pale in comparison of Sam's expectations, which we learned of in an earlier FaceTime conversation with Grandma Patti.

Sam: Grandma, I have a wiggly tooth.
Grandma Patti: Oooh, how much do you think the tooth fairy is going to bring you?
Sam: $167,000

Pardon me while I go take out a second mortgage.
