Practice makes perfect

Max is testing out which smile will look best in the wedding photos. Let's see what we've got.

There's the adorable and impish look,

your goofy grin,

or the full-on cheese!

Here's to any or all three make an appearance on Friday.

Happy Holidays 2010

No holiday cards and no tree this year. We're not Grinches, we're just a little preoccupied with a certain big event coming up soon.

None the less, we wanted to wish all the Little Greene Grape's family and friends a very Merry Christmas and Happy 2011. May your home be filled with as much glee and happiness as our babbling, dancing, 22-month-old, little man brings into ours every day.

All our best,
Gregg, Elisa & Max

It's beginning to look a lot like something

I guess we can call it Christmas with the candy cane and snow flake tiara atop Max's head.

Thanks to our friends at Copacino + Fujikado for a fun holiday party and photo.

Adorable Snowman

Max got his first taste of snow at the grandparent's house out in Spokane today. What's funny is there may have been more snow in Seattle . Regardless, a good time was had.

We'll miss you, Dave

I feel very blessed. Not only do I have so many wonderful family and friends in my life, but I also have a remarkable extended family at the Mariners. Today, I am saddened by the loss of our patriarch, Dave Niehaus.
Dave was and always will be not only the voice of the Mariners, but our heart and soul.
We'll miss you, Dave.

Walk a mile in my shoes

I've had several great moments as a dad, but yesterday was one of my top 10.
As I was getting ready for soccer last night, Max was busy messing around in our closet. Lo and behold, he wasn't just rummaging around, but looking for shoes to match his outfit...No matter that they were more than a little large. What's more, he put them on all by himself!

Next, he'll be asking for a briefcase.

Tonight, he repeated his performance. Every dinosaur sleeper needs Coach loafers, right?

Halloween fun without a single piece of candy

We made our second annual pilgrimage to the pumpkin patch in Woodinville with Max along with Grandma and Grandpa G. As you can tell from the pics below, it was a perfect fall day drenched in gorgeous late-afternoon light. We managed an hour of fun before our nap-deprived little man turned into a pumpkin. See what I did there?!

If only I was looking at the shiny keys my mom was shaking off to the side.

Cutest sunflower seed ever.

Hay there.

Gourd-geous, huh?
