Christmas '14

The holiday season is almost in the books, but before we turn the page to 2015, here's a look back at how we celebrated Christmas.

Annual family Christmas photo

Christmas Eve at the grandparents house

My folks loved their Greene (an actual player) Kings t-shirts.

Christmas Eve dinner at the big kids table

Our first Christmas in the new house

Stockings stuffed with so much stuff

And the main event... PRESENTS!

Max frenetically ripped through his and some of Sam's and well, everybody's gifts

Merry Christmas indeed

Oh, so the hook goes on that end

Speaking of frenetic

Sam's ironic present to his mom... sleepwear

That's our boy!

Did I mention Max liked opening presents?

The aftermath

It was a very Lego Christmas

Scenes from the Greenes holiday: TreeFest

A couple weeks back we attended our friends' the Cartys annual TreeFest event on their property on Whidbey Island. We took a ferry over to join nearly 200 people and enjoy food, drink, live music, Santa and even a banjo.

Putting the chilled in children

The first dusting of snow this season fell this morning and the boys made the most of it.

We partied like it was your birthday

Due to our move/remodel last year Sam didn't get a proper Greene family birthday party. We more than made up for it with a brunch bash this past weekend.

Max came ready to par-tay.
We hit the drinks pretty hard.
Friends

More friends
And even friends with stories.
And the best part...
Donuts!
And not just donuts...
Elisa's homemade beignets, which were a hit with the kids, parents and monkeys.
OK, and maybe Sam liked the presents just a little, too.

And so did his brother!
