Dream Greene Halloween

The Greenes did all of the things for Halloween.

We had three pumpkin carving parties over two days this weekend. On Halloween Eve the boys got to take part in the first Mariners trick-or-treat. Employees' kids could go from office to office to collect candy. Then on Halloween, we did some more trick-or-treating and had 30 or so people over to our place for a party.

Buckle up. Plenty of photo highlights below:

Carving party #2

Aaand Carving party #3

Next up: The office trick-or-treat event.
And yes, they are decked out as the Mariners biggest rivals.

Sam was Jose Altuve and Max was Mike Trout

I was ready to throw them OUT!

But we survived the ballpark barbs from my co-workers with a little humor and the Bluetooth speaker I hid in Max's candy bag playing "Why Can't We Be Friends".

Besides, look how cute my rivals are!

Sam's official Halloween costume on Halloween night was a robot.
He's obsessed with robots right now.

Elisa joined the umpire rotation on Halloween

And it was off to go trick-or-treating... again!

Happy Halloween from the Greene house!

Season 1 in the books

Sam O. wrapped up his first season of soccer earlier today. He had a great time playing with 40 or so of his closest friends with his mom AND dad as coaches!

Go JackRattlers!

Max's team the JackRattlers picked up their first win of the season (and really the last four seasons) on Sunday winning convincingly 6-0.

Pictured (left to right): Ken, Nick, Kai, David, Russell, Greyson, Cameron, Max, McCormack and Yoshi.

Our game face

And silly face

And the face after a shutout half in goal and rock-solid play on the field plus a little extra mud on the glasses for good measure!

Like grandparent, like grandkid

I know the saying is like father or mother, like son, but maybe it skips a generation.

Breaking boards like Grandma Sue Sue?

Check. Check.

And painting with color pencil like Grandpa Gary? We got that down, too!

Dawg days of fall

This weekend's excursion took us to see the Huskies on Saturday. Our Husky pups where a little squirrely and only made it three-quarters of the way through. Although, we did get a pre-game photo with  Mario Bailey, who is a UW Football legend and one of my favorite players from my freshman year when I got to see the purple and gold win the National Championship.

Go Dawgs!

Super Mario!

Light Night

Took the boys on Saturday to see Borealis, which was a light projection art festival. Six artists projected their art on the side of the MOHAI museum and each had a cool soundtrack. The pictures don't do justice for how awesome this was, but the boys loved it!

Friday Fun Day

The boys didn't have school on Friday because of a teacher workday. I took the day off as well and packed as much fun into our Friday as I possibly could.

What better way to kick off the day then donuts the size of your head?

Next up, a surprise visit to my friend Adam. We jumped up and down outside his office and delivered him a b-day cupcake.

The day picked up steam with a trip to Funko and a behind-the-scenes tour of the pop culture figurine makers' offices, which featured slides between floors and an employee lounge with free video games, pinball and a bowling alley

Then it was off to the pumpkin patch where if a picture is worth a thousand words, imagine the value of a thousand pictures!

Not pictured, but also a part of Friday Fun Day: Max's favorite lunch - fish tacos and orange soda, a pig show and duck races at the pumpkin farm, pizza with Grandma Patti & Grandpa Gary and an hour+ of foosball!

And then it was off to bed to start the weekend...
