MaX-Wing Fighter

Behold Max's latest Star Wars Lego masterpiece, the X-Wing Fighter from the Force Awakens.

It only took our young Jedi a day and a half to build. The Force is indeed strong with this one.

Thanks for the super cool set Pop Pop & Sue Sue!

Everything is Star Wars and awesome

Max's Star Wars Lego themed party was a blast.

We had games.

Max made some of the décor highlighted above and below.

We had a special guest.

And of course, there were corn dogs.

Lots of corn dogs.

Max got plenty of Star Wars and Lego presents and Star Wars Legos.

We dressed up a little.

And had cake... with Max's edible picture on it!

7 is off to a great start.

7th Heaven

Happy Birthday to our Star Wars obsessed, funny, kind, sometimes silly, make that usually silly, book reading, little brother loving (and aggravating), soccer playing, baseball crushing, cheese burger eating, Lego building, mom kitchen helping and all around awesome 7 year old, Max!

Max's radio debut

Last week I went on the Mariners Hot Stove League Radio broadcast to talk about the team's new kids initiative.  And if you're talking about kids you might as well bring your own.

So while I was discussing the importance of signing kids up for Little League and my own coaching experience, former Mariners catcher Dave Valle snuck in a question for Max.

Take a listen.

Are you ready for some baseball?

While everyone is getting ready to watch some football today, Max spent part of last weekend kicking off the baseball season at Mariners FanFest.
