April flowers

Spring chickens

Grandma Patti and the boys got to hang out with some three-day old chicks at Sam's preschool on Saturday.

Even more baseball

When the baseball team is out of town and there's no Little League practice or game what do we do?

Naturally we take the Little League team to a baseball game.

The coaches rounded up  our sluggers to see the Huskies play on Friday. Three of our boys caught foul balls, including Max. He snagged his from Cal hitter Max Flowers, which only made sense.

The next legends of rock

Meet Sam O. and his best preschool bud Donovan. Don't they look the next music superstars?

We'll see on Sam's end. He's certainly got the pipes to be a lead singer. But Donovan has the pedigree of three generations of drummers. Check out the story here:  http://www.bit.ly/2ouq1Ji

A gap & a gulp

Max lost a tooth this morning at his baseball game. I believe they call that a gapper.

Later that night he tried to see what it would look like back in, and accidentally swallowed it. He panicked and then got upset, thinking the tooth fairy wouldn't visit. I assured him she was nice and would probably understand if he wrote her a note.

I think the $2 under his pillow shows that she's got a heart.

Warm enough

When the sun finally comes out in Seattle after months of rain and the thermometer ticks above 60 degrees it's time to hit the beach!

Easter 2017

After three Easter egg hunts, a brunch, a dinner and more plastic eggs than we'll ever need, Easter 2017 is in the books.

To the victor goes the Creamsicles

Max won the first annual Greene family March Madness bracket challenge and earned the right to pick out the next  ice cream treat for the house.

One shining moment indeed.

Happy Opening Day!

Guess who we're rooting for this year?!
