I don't care if I ever get back

Just wrapped up our Mariners FanFest at the ballpark this weekend where we broke a record for attendance. But it was 4 people who attended the event for the first time that made it a record in my book.
During the last two hours of the first day Max, Elisa and my parents came down to the park. Over the 12 years I've worked this event I've seen hundreds of thousands of families enjoy running the bases, playing catch in the outfield and simply spending time together around the great game of baseball. For me to share these same experiences with my family is something I'll cherish for the rest of my life.
Here are a few pics that my dad took at the event. Enjoy!

Max's weigh in... slowly, but surely

Max was back at the doctor's office this afternoon for a weigh in. He tipped the scales at 17lbs 11oz, about a 1.5lb gain from 6 weeks ago. That takes him from the -3 percentile to the +3 percentile.

The doc says that's good progress, but there's still work to be done, butter to be eaten, heavy cream to consume, olive oil to sneak into food...

Best video of the decade

This clip we shot tonight of Max and Winnie playing with bubbles has to be some of the greatest footage of the decade so far. Watch and let us know if you agree.

As an added bonus, you also get to see Max showcase his new standing skills for a few seconds at the very end of the video. Could walking be far behind?
