First day of preschool

Max started two-day-a-week preschool today at the Seattle Children's PlayGarden.

First day outfit included a fireman's jacket and boots, new jeans, tiger backpack and of course, his trusty Mariners cap.

Some of Max's new preschool friends.

This will go down as the first thing he learned to do at preschool.

Teacher's pet? Must get that from his dad.

Best friend and next-door neighbor Cosimo and Max are in the same class.

Bumbershoot to bumbershot

Max enjoyed the musical talents and showcased some of his own at this weekend's Bumbershoot music and arts festival.

Acoustic and mellow just like the ladies like it.

Animal beat drums.

Refueling.

Not sure what this guy is all about, but willing to go along with the thumbs up since he gave him a balloon.

The Partridge family lives.

A nap, which came during a raucous Fitz & the Tantrums set in a small room packed with about 200 loud people. Needless to say, the kid is not a light sleeper.
