Sleeping in is not allowed on Christmas

Boys Day Out

Yesterday we gave Elisa the chance to sleep in and had ourselves a Boys Day. 

We started with breakfast at our local bakery, then hit the Aquarium and rounded things up with a trip to Pike Place Market for chowder bread bowls and some Christmas shopping. 

Snow (half) day

An inch or two of snow this morning, which melted away this afternoon, provided all Max and Cos needed to make a few snowmen. After they're hard work, I served then what else... pancake snowmen.

On Wednesday I surprised Max and took him to his first concert, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' sold out show at the Key Arena. 

Rockin' a flat-billed Macklemore cap, his tiger headphones and ear plugs, Max rocked out for the entire show. If you asked him afterwards, his highlights were the churro stick I bought him and the bicycle rickshaw ride back to the car, but at 4-1/2 he has time to learn to love the music itself.
