After a weeklong teachers' strike, Max finally got to start first grade. He's in Mrs. Harris class with one of his best friends Henry and another Max, who is Max C. to his Max G.

Kicking off soccer season

We had our second first today. Max's new soccer team, the Rattlers got things started this afternoon with their first practice, which was nothing short of amazing. Perhaps perfect is a better way to describe it.

First day of preschool - Sam edition

Sam stormed into preschool today ready to take on the world... or at least PlayGarden. He walked into the place and immediately made a new friend and had no issue at all saying goodbye to me, Elisa or Max, who is home while the Seattle teachers are on strike.
