Quick Sam update

In December, Sam's pediatrician and pediatric surgeon thought that he had a benign growth on his leg that needed to be removed because it was growing larger. After its removal, tests found that it was a rare type of mole which is prone to morphing into melanoma. Because of this, an additional surgery was suggested to remove a 3 mm perimeter around the existing wound site.

Although the cell growth found in the previous sample was not cancerous, this additional measure was suggested to prevent the possibility of any random cells from becoming cancerous.

Today, that surgery took place. Happily, all is well, and the popsicle made it all better. Throughout it all, Sam was a champ.
