Getting a jump start

Sam O. is taking a practice run at kindergarten all this week with the Jump Start program. It gives the incoming class a chance to get familiar with school and the teachers an opportunity to meet their new students.

So far, so good for Sam.  He's been going to John Muir for years now for Max's drop-offs. Now it's his turn and he has no fear. In fact, on the car ride over for his second day he declared, "Daddy, I can get out and go to school myself now." Then, walking in he stopped me 50 feet before the drop-off spot and hugged me and said, "Bye, daddy."

They grow up so fast!

Real kindergarten starts September 10th for our big little man on campus.
