Jalapenos, tomatoes and then, a grape

How did we get here?

Let me explain how the birds, the bees and the ingredients for the salsa add up to this.

Harken back to mid-July, when the nation was gripped by a salmonella scare from tomatoes and jalapenos. Our dear heroine, Elisa became quite ill and thought she had food poisoning from some excellent salsa we had made during the summer. Then she felt better for a week and then came a pain in her side.

With this odd array of symptoms, Elisa decided to pay her doctor a visit and what do you know? We had ourselves a little one, about the size of a grape, ten weeks in the making!
